The cozy-sized room has ~20 sq ft and is available August 1. There are 2
windows, facing the back of the house, so it is generally quiet and
sunny during the day. There is no closet in this space, but just outside
the hallway is a beautiful and large armoire for use. A queen-sized bed
and a small bookcase could be taken over by a new tenant.
This house is beautiful and in a great location. It sits just south of
Tiguex Park and Old Town Road, and is walking distance to Old Town
Plaza, grocery store, the museums, a local bakery/laundromat, and biking
distance to Bosque trail, downtown, and Marble Brewery. There is a
kitchen with a dishwasher, dining room, two living rooms spaces (one
with a fireplace), a back patio, and a back and front yard with adobe
walls. The house has a good energy - great lighting, Saltillo tile
floors, wooden vigas sustain the ceiling, pueblo design, true Old Town
charm. The house is also close to popular bus lines including the local
66 and Rapid Ride red 766 & blue 790 buses. There is plenty of
off-street parking right next to the house available.
The roommates you will potentially be living with are looking for
someone who is respectful, clean, responsible, creative, and
adventurous. Allison is a bilingual teaching working with 5th graders
and Alexandra is a graduate student in Geology at UNM. Allison likes
soccer, bike rides, and traveling south of the border; Alexandra enjoys
doing field work and yoga. As true lovers of the outdoors, they both
look forward to camping, backpacking, biking, and hiking whenever
possible. At home, Allison and Alexandra spend their time cooking
healthy fresh meals, relaxing, playing music, preparing for school, and
having friends over occasionally for dinner, drinks, or a BBQ.
The future roommate can be either male or female, however, just as long as the new roommate is a good fit for the household.
